Estée Lauder (1906 – 2004) was an American entrepreneur and cosmetics pioneer who left a lasting mark on the beauty industry. Born Josephine Esther Mentzer in Queens, New York, Estée Lauder’s journey to success began in the early 20th century when she started experimenting with skincare formulas in her kitchen.

With an eye for beauty and a relentless drive for perfection, Lauder developed a line of high-quality skincare products that quickly gained popularity among her friends and family. In 1946, she officially founded the Estée Lauder Companies, laying the foundation for what would become one of the world’s leading beauty conglomerates.
